The short version

If you want multichannel sequences — email plus LinkedIn touches, run across a sales team with seats and shared campaigns — buy lemlist; that is the job it is designed for. If you are one recruiter who wants personalized email out of your own inbox, that's us.

Choose lemlist if

  • You want LinkedIn steps and other channels in the same sequence as email.
  • You have a team, and seats, shared campaigns and reporting across people matter.
  • You want a built-in lead database as part of the same subscription.
  • Image and landing-page personalization is something you will actually use.

Choose GridMail if

  • Email from your own inbox is the whole channel, and you want that one thing done properly.
  • You are buying for yourself, not for seats — per-seat pricing is pure overhead at one person.
  • You want to read the opener before it goes, not trust a template to fill itself in.
  • You want a reply to end that prospect's sequence without you policing it.

lemlist is described qualitatively here on purpose. Its plans and prices change, and we would rather send you to the source than quote a number that has moved — check lemlist's own pricing page before you decide.

FAQ

For multichannel outbound run by a team, yes — genuinely. lemlist does things we do not do at all, like LinkedIn steps inside the same sequence. For a single recruiter who only wants email from their own inbox, you would be paying per seat for a channel mix you are not using.

No. GridMail is email only, from your own inbox. If LinkedIn steps are part of how you work, that is a real reason to choose lemlist over us and we would rather say so here than let you find out after paying.

The models differ more than the numbers. lemlist prices per seat across tiers, so a team of five costs roughly five times a team of one. GridMail is one flat price for the account, and is in free beta right now. Check lemlist's live pricing page for current figures before you decide.

Not automatically. You can export your prospect list as CSV and upload it to GridMail, but sequences themselves are written fresh — which is usually a good thing, since a sequence built for multichannel rarely reads well as email alone.
